Monitor Audio has incorporated an 8-inch  MMP II bass driver with Monitor Audio's signature C-CAM Gold Dome Tweeter to provide a high-quality sound, ease of drive and a wide frequency response followed by dispersion. An optional square grille can be used on this speaker instead of the circle grille.
