One of the improvements for the SX series against previous Mission models is the use of composite alloy based diaphragms of the midrange and bass units. This provides detailed sonic performance with low distortion from the driver, due to the material being so stiff. The tweeter is made of a light, but sturdy titanium, which reproduces high frequency sounds with an astonishing level of clarity and purity.
