The new Myryad Z20 DAC is an advanced design 24 bit delta sigma digital to analogue converter made to help you get the maximum musical enjoyment from your digital music sources, from laptop, Mac or PC, CD player, Blu-ray, games console or smartphone.
Sources delivering a digital bitstream to the asynchronous USB receiver of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz or 176.4kHz can all be upsampled to 24 bit 192kHz before being converted using a high quality DAC chip. The dual analogue outputs are buffered via precision op-amps and dc coupled at the output for maximum low frequency extension. On the rear panel are three digital audio inputs on USB 2.0, Coaxial (spdif) or optical (toslink) connections. Phono sockets bring the analogue audio signals to your amplifier. Internally, the PCB construction uses surface mount devices enabling very short signal paths for lowest noise performance. A highly regulated, stable DC power supply is housed in it's own shielded enclosure inside the main chassis, to prevent unwanted electromagnetic radiation to the sensitive audio circuitry. All front panel controls and display LED's are controlled by a sophisticated microprocessor board immediately behind the fascia. The Myryad Z20 is a high performance DAC with excellent sound quality and ample connectivity for the vast majority of audiophiles seeking improved sound quality from digital music sources.
