These PMC Twenty5 26i Floorstanding Speakers have been proudly on display in our Hereford store for the past 12 months and are now for sale to rotate our demo stock. The speakers have seen occasional use after their initial 300+ hour run-in time, along with demonstrations throughout the year.

The Walnut veneer finish is in great condition with no noticeable marks to the speaker's cabinet (Please see photos before purchasing). The drive units are all in excellent working condition and sound superb. These speakers are PMC's flagship of the Twenty5i range, housing a ferrofluid-cooled, SONOMEX™ fabric soft dome tweeter, dedicated soft-dome mid-range driver and single 170mm long-throw g-weave™ bass driver, providing deep, tight and punchy bass alongside incredibly transparent yet smooth treble, a speaker that really has to be heard to be believed.

The flagship 26i is the largest speaker in the Twenty5 range, featuring a third mid-range driver to enhance critical details in vocals and in many instruments. This three-way design is essential to ensure that every important frequency range has its own dedicated driver, tuned precisely to fill even the largest of listening rooms with absolute clarity, transparency & musicality.

The 26i features PMC's infamous ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) design, allowing the speaker to produce deep, hard-hitting bass which you can not only hear but feel. This bass driver is perfectly balanced with the 26i's custom 50mm soft-dome midrange driver and 19mm ferrofluid-cooled soft-dome tweeter to create stunning open highs, clear, detailed mids and deep, tight bass.

The 26i is capable of bringing the very best out of whatever system it is paired with, be it a Rega Aethos, Naim Pre/Power System or even home cinema receiver such as the Denon AVC-8500H.

Who is PMC?

Founded in 1991 by Peter Thomas of the BBC and Adrian Loader of FWO Bauch. The combination of knowledge and a life-long passion for music led to the production of PMC’s first product, the BB5-A, an active main studio monitor. This design was snapped up by the BBC Maida Vale and Metropolis Mastering and remains the world’s reference, used by Prince, Stevie Wonder’s Wonderland Studio, Hospital HDTV Broadcast London and for renowned classical labels such as Decca and Harmonia Mundi. Many of today’s movie themes have been crafted using PMC, from such eminent composers as Henry Jackman, Thomas Newman, Tyler Bates and John Debney.
