ProAc are a British loudspeaker manufacturer, noted for their robust and impressive build quality, as well as their commitment to the 'perfectly natural' design philosophy that they have become world-famous for upholding. Every ProAc loudspeaker is crafted by hand with delicacy and meticulous attention to detail, with each solid cabinet constructed, acoustically-damped and then finished in real wood veneer.

The new Proac Sudio 118's replace and offer improved performance over the well regarded Studio 115 model. The polypropylene bass/midrange driver of the 115 has been replaced by a new, doped paper cone driver with a more powerful magnet assembly and phase plug, which enables the Studio 118 to deliver deper, cleaner bass and a more open and natural midrange with better dispersion characteristics than possible before.

The tweeter unit comprises of ProAc's iconic 20mm tweeter componentry, backed behind a prestigious and ProAc-specific level of engineering experience and expertise. This enables the 118 to to reproduce high frequencies with an exemplary level of accuracy in a sweet and detailed manner, while the main midrange and bass driver units mean that all sounds across all frequencies are warm, comfortable and controlled. 

A new internal crossover design ensures a superlative soundstage, complete with meticulously accurate imaging.
