The S/E upgrade kit is an affordable motor upgrade for various turntables. This kit includes 2 rubber grommets and screws, a rounded drive belt and an alternative pulley. The rubber grommets are designed to sit underneath the motor, which is then secured into place with the screws provided. When turning the pressure onto the grommets, the amount of unwanted vibration will be dramatically reduced, giving off an outstanding overall sound performance. The pulley is fitted onto the motor by removing the already existing pulley. There may be a small screw holding the existing pulley in place; this will need to be removed. These simplistic steps will reduce the transfer of any remaining resonances to the record surface. 

Who is Project?

Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990s, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least  £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
