REL are world renowned for their excellent active sub-bass systems, however not all customers can afford their more high end products. What they have decided to do is to launch the new REL T5 aimed at the AV enthusiast who wants 99% of the performance of a traditional sub, but at a price point that is way below £500. We feel they have acheieved this goal.
As a superb entry level active subwoofer ideal for either stereo (2.1) or home cinema applications.
Being only just over a foot tall the stunningly compact T5 still packs a lot of punch into its discrete design. Packing a 8" 150 watt downward firing driver the T5 doesnt lack performance and will go as low as 32Hz at -6bB. If you own a pair of speakers but are wanting a Bass upgarde the REL T5 is certainly worth looking at, with a deep tuneful bass it will compliment most if not all s,all to medium systems.
