Class A/B amplifier offering 80 watts per channel into 8ohms and 150 watts into 4ohms powered by Rotel's oversized, built-inhouse toroidal transformer with 4 slit-foil high-efficiency storage capacitors will help bring your speakers to life.

A Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz DAC (digital to analogue converter) which has been fully redesigned and exhaustively tuned and hand-selected of all critical components delivers a deeper, detailed and more balanced image of the music. Improvements to the power supply and amplifier gain stage further refine the audio whether you are listening to a big band orchestra or a solo vocalist.

Rotel parts

One thing you will find on the Rotel is Tone controls, this provide treble and bass adjustments in 1dB step up to +/- 10dB personalizing your experience for all music genres, moods and settings with a BYPASS mode eliminating unwanted noise and distortion.

The A14MKII is certified Roon Tested delivering the best experience using Roon software so you can just enjoy the music, simply plug your computer in via the USB to start streaming from Roon. Control system integration is available utilizing Ethernet, RS232, 12V-Trigger and remote IR connections.

Dual 5-way speaker binding posts allow Zone 2 installations with a relay-controlled selection of the A-B speaker outputs. The front panel graphic display includes a large volume indication and audio stream information.

The CD14 MKII is the matching CD player in the series. To connect the amp to the CD player you will need either a digital coax cable or a pair of RCA leads (see images for below, left for digital, right for analogue) If you use the digital cable, you will be using the DAC (digital to analogue converter) in the amplifier, rather than the one in the CD player. It is personal preference which one you decide on.
