We have in-store a customer trade-in pair of Ruark Audio Prologue One floorstanding speakers In cherry. In great condition and sounding great. A few minor marks on the base but nothing that would detract from the sound.
Great imaging, very well-balanced and easy to drive! (8 ohms nominal, 89 db/1 W efficient) Collection in person only.
The Ruarks are British-built solid speakers with lovely detail and sound to match. they are bi-wirable via gold terminals. and sand/shot fillable for a tighter sound. Here are the specs:
Crossover: Precision audio grade components (5 elements) crossover point 2.0khz.
Tweeter: Morel 28mm silk dome neodymium magnet system, ferrofluid-cooled and damped
Bass/mid-range units: 2 x 140mm treated NRSC coated fibre cone with high loss pure rubber surround mounted in an injection moulded polymer chassis. Fully shielded magnetic system.
Frequency response: 45hz – 20khz +-3db
Nominal impedance: 8 ohms
