The Sennheiser PXC 550-II is the next noise-cancelling headphone to be released. With the following success from the previous PXC-550, Sennheiser took it upon themselves to make the second generation even better than before. Adaptive noise cancellation will automatically adjust to your surroundings to suppress unwanted background noise, perfect if you've got constantly changing environments. You can now take control via convenient, one-touch access with the voice assistant button that connects virtual assistants such as Google Assist, Alexa and Siri, to boast these features, all this is accompanied by a triple microphone array offering superb speech clarity when giving your voice commands.

Although this sort of technology has been used on other various headphones, Sennheiser had added what they call 'Smart Pause' - it's essentially what it says on the tin, when taking off the headphones, the music will stop playing and will carry on once you've put them back on. The PXC 550-II will automatically turn on and connects via Bluetooth as it's unfolded so you can listen exactly where you left off. Another key selling feature for these headphones is the 30 hours of listening time, although this is the same as the older generation, this is still a solid figure, with only three hours of charge time, you will then have access to those wonderful 30 hours of enjoyment.
