Solid Steels S2 series is their entry-level ranged which has been created to not only satisfy customers but to also bring that subtle look to accompany your current hifi system. Even though it is classed as their entry-level range, the build quality of these stands are rather exceptional, Italian quality materials to be exact. Across the board, the S2 series comes with multiple configurations of the number of shelves needed, ranging from 3, 4 and 5 shelves if required. The S2 series shelving and aluminium poles give off a rather smart design, Solid Steel utilises the use of MDF when it comes to the shelving and the new aluminium poles are non-welded, reason being is that aluminium is lighter than most other products out there that use steel, it's very strong, non-magnetic and excellent for noise damping. The reason for these poles being non-welded is that there is potential for unwanted energy or vibrations which will develop deep in hollow welded points, removing this aspect will completely eliminate this from happening which is a great step in the right direction.
