The TD-550 model builds upon this extensive reputation for quality and follows the same design philosophy of offering an authoritative turntable at an accessible price.

The TD-550 borrows some of the innovative and sophisticated technology found within the acclaimed TD-350 and comes equipped with a suspended chassis and the belt drive on the outer rim of the platter itself. The TD-550 is large in stature, so mounting and integrating 12" tonearms to the unit is possible. The platform of which the tonearm is seated is constructed from an extremely stiff carbon fibre compound, this guarantees that the coupling of the platter and tonearm is rigid, and in turn neutralises unwanted resonances.
