The Unico 50 is a stand-out product, existing as the penultimate integrated amplifier within Unison Research's Unico series. The Unico 50 marks a difference in the way that Unison Research build and design their units, seeing technological advancements and a more compelling sound overall.
The Unico 50 is a true incarnation of the very concept of 'audiophile', and outputs a rich 200 RMS watts into 4 ohms (120 RMS into 8 ohms), capable of getting the best performance out of even the most demanding of loudspeakers. The valves used within the Unico 50 are ECC83 (12AX7), which allows the amplifier to output sound with the level of warmth and smoothness that people love from vinyl recordings - no matter what source.
A plethora of connections are catered for too, including four unbalanced analogue connections, and a balanced input (XLR), as well as a subwoofer output, tape out, and bi-wireable speaker terminals
