The story
The ELYSIAN 2R occupies a special position in the range. It is a standmount loudspeaker, but not a small-scale design. Its three-way driver array allows bass, midrange and treble to be handled by dedicated units, each operating within its optimum range. This creates the sense of openness, control and dynamic ease usually associated with larger speakers, while preserving the imaging precision and placement flexibility of a standmount.
Generation R refinements take this concept further. The crossover network has been reworked to improve phase integration and shorten signal paths. The AMT treble unit provides greater speed and resolution. The midrange driver is engineered for natural expression, while the large 8.5” bass driver gives the 2R genuine low-frequency authority.
