KEF Loudspeakers are now available from Hifi Gear!

This means that you can now expect a combination of performance, quality workmanship and an outstanding reputation in all of their speaker manufacturing endeavours. KEF have always driven to produce speakers that both make a visual impression at first, before making an ever-lasting impression upon the listener in terms of the rich, tantalising and meaningful sound.

KEF’s reputation has always been something to trust since their beginning in Maidstone, England, back in 1961. It was after Raymond Cooke’s leave from Wharfedale in the early 60s then started the KEF brand going. He had both the knowledge and drive to develop speakers that truly did all music justice; rivalling his former employers in the process. KEF’s reputation since has grown further by the help of the BBC monitors of the 1960s and 1970s, soon further aided with the help of the ‘Total System Design’ to ensure an accurate test of their loudspeakers during the testing stages. The ‘Total Design System’ was the very first of its kind for computer-based results during testing.

Although up against Celestion, Wharfedale and the ever faithful Bowers & Wilkins, KEF still powered on with their technology and research in developing speakers for every scenario. Now in 2012, KEF has partnered with Hifi Gear as a dealer in their loudspeakers. The new ranges of the KEFs that we have cater for all budgets, listening tastes and operation functionalities. Whether it is a Home Cinema speaker package, Bookshelf speakers, or Floor-standing, we are very pleased to have KEF under our wing as we look forward to many, many more models from the company in the future.
