A brief look into the range of Micro Systems from Hifi Gear
Not everyone has the space to accommodate a full Hi-Fi system. That’s why the micro hi-fi system is becoming a common site in many peoples’ homes. Ideal for a study, kitchens, bedrooms and lots more locations around the home, the micro system can deliver great sound and usually an inexpensive price too. Obtaining the sound of a full-sized Hi-Fi system is usually a very difficult thing to do with smaller systems. However, technology has become more and more developed over the years and sound systems on a small scale now offer great sound indeed. The Denon DM-38DAB micro system offers great value for money with its CD and DAB capabilities. On top of this, iPod connection is made possible by connecting via the USB connector on the unit’s front facia. The unit can be supplied with or without matching speakers. The unit sounds amazing and can really be mistaken for something much bigger. With all this in mind, we can see why it has won the What Hi-Fi award of a grand 5 stars.
An alternative to this is the fantastic Marantz M-CR603. Again, CD and radio capabilities feature with the M-CR603. It even features music streaming for great functionality and playback quality.
Even with micro systems sounding so great, we still feel that connecting speakers via upgraded speaker cable will help to enhance quality. QED Silver Micro is a very suitable upgrade which allows much better transmission of audio signals in comparison to cheaper cables. Doing this will help to boost sound quality and preserve the audio signals inside the cable even more so.
