The Formation Duo has taken everything the 21st-century tech has to offer when it comes to streaming and now, finally, it enables high-quality wireless streaming to your already existing passive system or from existing passive components (CD player, turntable or other pieces) to wireless Formation speakers located anywhere in the household. The analogue to digital converter will ensure the listener no lag or no breaks in the sound, even when rotating between rooms, like all other Formation Products, the Audio will also have 96/24-bit streaming.

Who is Bowers & Wilkins and what is their Formation Range?

Bowers & Wilkins are a company that needs a very little introduction, having been constructing some of the world's most critically acclaimed loudspeaker and headphone models for half of a decade. Starting at the entry-level 600 S2 series, through to the new 700 S2 series audiophile range, 800 Diamond series and flagship Nautilus model. These different series of loudspeakers have been praised as the superior listening experience in both two-channel hifi/music listening and in multi-channel home theatre applications, having claimed a vast multitude of awards in both categories. A Bowers speaker can be easily recognised by the signature yellow Aramid fibre. cone, which can be found with their 600 series with the latest 700 and 800 Series opting for a silver 'continuum' cone.

Bowers & Wilkins have made their "Wireless" product range Formation and yes, it definitely lives up to the high expectations. You can now stream music effortlessly in high resolution from the comfort of your living room. Not only does the Formation Range sound impressive, but it also looks the part as well, taking a boldly modern approach to make any Formation product look truly stunning in any sort of home environment. We personally feel like B&W has really hit the nail on the head with this debut.
