The Ruark MR1 MK3 active speakers are the latest version of the massively popular and multi-award-winning speakers. Designed for those with limited space but who want a quality of sound not normally available at this size.
Improving on the Mk2 version, the Mk3 now have a High-quality MM Phono stage, with variable gain for cartridge matching for turntable use, aptX Bluetooth HD for CD level streaming (source dependent, of course) from your phone, tablet or other Bluetooth compatible device. Combined Aux and Optical input for easy connection to TVs, as well as a USB-C connection for use with your mobile devices.

The new handcrafted cabinets provide ideal acoustic properties and, with their bevelled front edges and Slate Grey grilles, now look even more stylish. Size-wise wise the enclosures have been subtly enlarged to allow optimum volume for our new NS+ Bass/Mid units, and for amplification, we’ve adapted the Class D technology used in our R410, for a sizeable increase in power output and control. Painstaking optimisation of the speaker crossover and reflex tuning has resulted in a significant leap in acoustic performance. The MR1 Mk3 delivers deeper bass, a clear, lucid midrange, and exceptional high-frequency detail from our custom 20mm silk dome tweeters, so from the shimmer of cymbals to the resonance of a cello, every nuance is delivered with clarity and depth.

Who is Ruark?
Ruark Audio is a family-owned British company, founded in 1986, that specialises in compact lifestyle radio systems. The company found massive success with the launch of its first unit, the R1, which has since evolved into its third rendition. Shortly after the R1 was launched, a multitude of larger and more prolific products began to appear on Ruark's catalogue, and soon after, the same products would be seen in kitchens, bedrooms, offices and living rooms all over the world. Ruark is well known in the world of HiFi speakers from the '80s and '90s.
