The brand-new Ruark R3s is something that we've been itching to have, a beautiful, modern-looking all-in-one compact system for your household. See the R3s as the Ruark R5's little brother. What Ruark do well is simple yet effective and the R3 is one of those products. After spending a lot of time with R5, we already have a good idea of how the new R3 is going to work. Ruark believes that 'everyone deserves a good design in their lives the R3 will definitely help more people enjoy their quality music time a little bit more than before. Follows the same sort of design as the R5, keeping it sleek and very versatile with also that playful form factor.

Radio / Internet Radio

With radio stations still being one of the top choices for listening, the R3s will let you enjoy your music or talk shows with its SmartRadio tuner. This feature will allow you to access any DAB/DAB+ station with also the FM tuning side of things. It's not over yet though, this also has an Internet radio tuner, giving you access to thousands of other various radio stations you wish to explore, not only that, you have access to more podcasts as well for those who enjoy a good ol' debate. I feel like this is a step in the right direction as more and more people are starting to tune into radio stations, it's also great to see that all the other Ruark products follow these steps too.

CD Functionality 

Another key feature of the Ruark R3 is CD incorporation, ticking all the boxes here, if anyone is an avid listener of CD albums and wants top-quality sound, we would strongly recommend looking into this. Ruark has fitted a high-specification player into the unit, making your listening experience very enjoyable. With the nostalgia of the vinyl revival, Ruark wants to keep that same sort of experience that should not be lost to time that by purchasing physical music that continues to support the music and artists you love. Alongside CDs, the R3 also plays your very own, self-made CDs encoded with the popular formats of WAV and MP3 with the addition of track and artist information visible on the front of the R3.

Streaming

Time for another key feature of the R3 - Streaming compatibility. Bringing the streaming technology from the Ruark R5, you will be able to control the R3 through your mobile phone or any sort of smart device. All you have to do is download their own Ruark Link app. Once downloaded you will be greeted on an 'Audio System' screen, allowing you to connect to your Ruark device of choice. Some devices have different options than others. The MRx, R2, R3 and R7 will be available to use on App. The app has quite a diverse amount of choices such as Spotify Connect, Internet Radio, DAB/FM and much more. Who is Ruark Audio?

Ruark Audio is a family-owned British company, founded in 1986, well known for its specialist speakers ranges, now specialising in compact lifestyle radio systems. The company found massive success with the launch of its first unit, the R1, which has since evolved into its third rendition. Shortly after the R1 was launched, a multitude of larger and more prolific products began to appear on Ruark's catalogue and soon after, the same products would be seen in kitchens, bedrooms, offices and living rooms all over the world.
