The PMC Twenty5 23i - In the previous Twenty5 series, the 23 was easily proven to be one of the most popular models in the series, now the newer 23i is looking to fit in that same success bracket and without a doubt, we firmly believe that it would be the case. What sets it apart is its discreet yet elegant floor-standing form which is more than ideal for filling any medium-sized room with nothing but transparent, authentic dynamics and effortlessly extended bass. When it comes to floorstanding speakers, you need to take size into consideration, luckily these speakers blend unobtrusively into any room, whether your preference is modern or traditional. As a standard rule of the Twenty5 series, it will make the best of even affordable source electronics but if you pair this with high-end amplification, you're going to be set for one amazing experience.

The Twenty5 23i uses PMC's ATL (Advanced Transmission Line) technology, to get some context on what this is, it's a technology that uses sophisticated cabinet construction, proprietary drive units, and patented absorption materials and techniques. The benefits you get from this is rather substantial compared to the relatively simple sealed and ported designs currently available elsewhere.

Who is PMC?

Founded in 1991 by Peter Thomas of the BBC and Adrian Loader of FWO Bauch. The combination of knowledge and a life-long passion for music led to the production of PMC’s first product, the BB5-A, an active main studio monitor. This design was snapped up by the BBC Maida Vale and Metropolis Mastering and remains the world’s reference, used by Prince, Stevie Wonder’s Wonderland Studio, Hospital HDTV Broadcast London and for renowned classical labels such as Decca and Harmonia Mundi. Many of today’s movie themes have been crafted using PMC, from such eminent composers as Henry Jackman, Thomas Newman, Tyler Bates and John Debney.
